With the help of the safety rod (M10 threaded rod), the drill bit on the spindle of the lathe can be prevented from loosening.

Morse cone has a suitable threaded support.

The use of a drill feeder on the spindle of a lathe is ideal, for example when machining small workpieces, or when receiving polishing abrasives.

To prevent injury, the theaded rod must be cut to length before powering on your lathe. 

Simply install the drawbar system on your lathe while it is unplugged, then cut the rod with a hacksaw 

so no more than 2" of rod extends past the collet chuck handwheel. Remove any sharp burrs with a file.
